Mary O’Connor is a Melbourne-based graphic designer and illustrator whose work blends nature with a contemporary edge. From her beginnings in graphite drawing to her transition into digital illustration at Billy Blue College of Design, her style is defined by bold colour, contrast, and expressive form.
Titled The Roses, this diary series features four vibrant covers — Bumble Bee, Butterfly, Dragonfly, and Hummingbird. Each design pairs blooming roses with dynamic pollinators, symbolising growth, movement, and renewal, and bringing energy and optimism to everyday planning
